Yep, that's right folks! In approximately ONE MONTH (30 days) from now, I will, most likely, be in the air, heading across the pond to Heathrow (arriving ridiculously early in the morning).
It's hard to imagine: the months of preparation and prayer that I've put into this is finally culminating into something other than just an off-hand fantasy; it's becoming a reality, slowly but surely. I'll be in Berea for another week and a half, then I'll be heading back to the Buckeye state for a couple of weeks, and then...
It's show time.
As I mentioned in a (much) earlier post, I can't thank you all enough for prayers, advice, recommendations, and encouragement. I don't think any of this would be possible without you.
Countdown: 30 days. Crazy to think that when I started this, I was 114 days away. Time really does fly.

Catching up!
So...it's been a while since I've posted. It's been a pretty hectic couple of weeks. Actually, I think "hectic" is a gross understatement. Since my last post, I have:
1. finished my junior year of college (with less than desirable grades, but hey, passing is passing. Slowly but surely I'm learning to take it for what it is: progress). So...that would make me a senior in college! Holy moley...
2. moved out of the dorm I've lived in for the past two years: Fairchild. It was a good place to live, and I have so many good memories there. But it's time to move on!
3. moved into James, where I'll be until June 9th. I love it here. Since it's right by the woods it reminds me of being at home. :)
4. said goodbye to many dear friends as I watched them graduate from Berea College. But I know that they will all be on to bigger and better things
5. (dork moment ahead) watched the SERIES finale of a tv show that I have kept up with since I was 14 years old: Smallville. Personally, I don't think it could've ended in a more perfect way. Ok, I'm going to stop there or I'll be blogging all night.
6. watched my dear pastor, who's become such an influential person in my life, graduate from seminary with his Masters of Divinity after 8 years of part-time schooling! I'm so very proud of him.
7. learned, sadly, of the passing of a very wonderful person with an equally wonderful daughter, who has become one of the greatest friends I could have ever asked for,
...and many, many other things!
In terms of Kingston, nothing much is really going on right now. For the time being things have quieted down, which is good for me; this quietness has greatly helped me to regain my bearings, make some money, and try to get things sorted out before that long-awaited day at the end of June. I still don't really think it's sunk in yet. I'm not sure if it ever will.
Regardless, though, it's 45 days until take-off. More to come. Thanks for keeping up with me. Your support is greatly and wholeheartedly appreciated.
