Spent the morning/early afternoon galavanting around Soho and Chinatown in London, then visited the Poetry Library, where I quietly perused (and chuckled at) two volumes of Shel Silverstein and my favorite Robert Frost poem. Definitely a vast improvement from the atrocity of last week!
Highlight of my day: myself and three company (joined later by a fourth) made our way from Waterloo to St. Johns Wood station and we made it to...Abbey Road!!!!! Crazy drivers, and even crazier people (one guy was literally standing in the middle of the street to capture the pictures). It rained, and it took three tries, but we got some pretty awesome shots! Will post later.
Went on the Eye today...totally worth it!! It sounds cliche but you can literally see all parts of London! It rained, though. But I personally think it added a pretty cool effect.
Anyway, skyping with sis right now. Going to do some writing, then hit the sack. Cheers!
